In April, the birds will be singing and the bees will be buzzing. Sex Week will be taking sex out of the bedroom, closet, kitchen, stairway…what have you… and opening it up for examination and discussion.
Too often, issues regarding sexuality are swept under the rug or ignored, leaving people with little information regarding one of the most intimate and important aspects of their lives.
When it comes to sex, ignorance is far from bliss. We aim to eliminate the sexual ignorance that plagues us and provide students with the resources needed to become fully aware and prepared to make informed decisions.
You may have heard that Sex Week pushes sex on everyone whether they want to have it or not. However, our mission is simple: we want people to start talking. Sex Week is meant to provide students with fun, provocative, and informative opportunities to explore the role of sex and sexuality in our lives. There is no religious or ideological affiliation: just an open forum to learn and discuss.
Conclusion: Sex is everywhere. Sex Week is coming. So let’s get it on.
